Reach the City:
Following in the footsteps of the highly successful outreaches in Bristol over the last 2 years, OAC Ministries are this year joined by OM Lifehope in a joint initiative in Cardiff. A team of over 100, led by experienced evangelists, will be working with over 20 churches in and around Cardiff for what promises to be an exciting time of outreach ministry. Every morning the teams will unite for prayer and training before heading out to their respective churches to engage with local communities. Programmes are being drawn up with special events ranging from open air meetings to coffee mornings and golf days. Special meetings are being planned for children as well as adults.
Dave Glover, National Director for OAC says, “ What excites me most about this venture, apart from the fact that 2 highly respected organisations like OAC & OM are coming together in this way, is the fact that we are engaging with local churches on their own patches. Nothing is being imposed and we are there to serve, at minimal financial cost, in assisting local believers make an impact where they live. It also gives Christians the opportunity to work alongside experienced evangelists and learn invaluable communication skills that will serve them well in years to come.”
The dates of the outreach are Sunday 29th June – Sunday 6th July and already quite a multi-national team is coming together. If you would like to be part of ‘Reach the City Cardiff’ then contact Norman Moderate (info.gb@oaci.org) for registration details and costs.
