National Week of Prayer

Please join with us during our National Week of Prayer to pray for different areas of the work of OAC GB each day.

Wednesday 4th February – Training

OAC GB is involved in a heavy schedule of online training for both new evangelists, and ongoing training for other areas such as sharing the Gospel with those blinded by the teaching of specific religions or cults.

Safeguarding training needs to be undertaken by everyone involved with OAC.

Additionally, we hold in person outreach training for street work, using courses that run as a block of a few days. This vital part of the work enables trainees to catch the fire for Gospel outreach from OAC evangelists and meet others who are discovering the art of communicating the Gospel effectively with strangers.

Please pray for the London and South Wales teams who run these courses annually and for Dawn Getley, and others too. Dawn has trained hundreds of people in using both the sketch board and puppets to communicate with children and young people.

“Leroy, stumbled into our Streetwise training at the Angel.  Ethel was about to do her very first Sketch board talk so we invited Leroy to be part of the audience.  The message and the kindness of the team impacted him.  I gently challenged him around some life issues and invited Leroy to come back to the church, which he did.  The church Pastor happened to join us later, and we prayed with Leroy together.  I have kept in regular contact since.  Leroy has made a commitment to Christ.  Please pray for him.  Ethel was touched by the way the Lord had used her Gospel message.”
